    Celebration Station is the perfect place for a fun outing. The amusement park contains an arcade with over 100 games, bumper boats, go-karts, mini-golf, rides and batting cages. Entrance to the park is free, and prices for each activity differ. A minimum height requirement applies to some of the attractions. Rates for large groups are available, and birthday packages include a meal in the on-site restaurant.

    Hester Park is a paradise for sporty family fun. The grounds contain sand volleyball courts, soccer and football fields available for rent, 11 tennis courts, horseshoe pits, trails, and playgrounds. Picnic sites and grills will keep the family fed between events. Fishing lakes and piers are available for public use as well, with one pier designed for disabled access. The park can also accommodate weddings under the wedding gazebo. Hester Park is open from 8am until dusk.

The property's 17 acres (6.88 hectares) have been split into 12 plant collections, grouped together based on plant size, species, optimum growing conditions, or blossoming times. The grounds also contain a butterfly garden, exceptional rose garden, rhododendron garden, and walking trails.

    Glow in the dark miniature golf inside Four Seasons Town Centre. Located on the 2nd floor by the Ruby Tuesday entrance, this is a family friendly environment.     »The Bog Garden

    Located near the Bicentennial Garden, The Bog Garden gives visitors a rare chance to walk through the wetlands via an elevated walkway. Visitors will be surrounded by lush green vistas - a welcome escape from the sights and sounds of the city.     »Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden

    The Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden was created by Greensboro Beautiful, Inc. in conjunction with the Greensboro Parks & Recreation Department. Greensboro Beautiful is a nonprofit organization dedicated to maintaining and enhancing Greensboro's natural beauty, and in 1976 created the Bicentennial Garden with that purpose in mind. Sculptures of historical interest are placed throughout the park, and the flowering trees, lush greenery, and flowing stream create an idyllic setting for a romantic or family outing. This public garden is open daily from dawn until dusk, and is available for weddings.

    »David Caldwell Historic Park

    Adjacent to the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden, this historic park is named after the Presbyterian minister and a self-trained physician. On this particular site back in 1767. he opened up an academy for young men. All told, Caldwell once owned these 550 acres where his home and academy used to stand in Greensboro, and where the park now sits. This history of this land is synonymous with Greensboro.
