Don Felder

3600 Monongahela Blvd
Morgantown, WV 26505
As a young child, Don Felder was initially attracted to music after he saw Elvis Presley perform on the Ed Sullivan Show. At the age of 10, Felder was learning how to play the guitar and quickly became a skilled instrumentalist. He started his first band, The Continentals, at the age of 15, a band that saw Felder playing alongside Stephen Stills, of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young fame. In 1974, he helped found the legendary soft rock group The Eagles and would serve as the band's primary guitarist until 1980, when he left the group. After departing from the band, Felder would pursue a solo career before eventually returning to The Eagles' lineup from 1994 to 2001.

Pennsylvania Maple Festival
MeyersdaleMarch 21, 2015
Meyersdale, PA 15552
Attending the annual Pennsylvania Maple Festival is like walking through local breathing, living history. Although maple syrup takes center stage at the festival with mountains of pancakes and sausage to boot The Legend of the Magic Water, a play cast with 100 locals that tells the story of discovering maple syrup, is a true highlight. Country life at the turn of the century is recreated at the Festival Park, and an antique doctor’s office, cobbler’s shop, country store and the Historic Meyers Homestead line scenic Meyers Avenue. No show on March 31st and April 1.
