    »Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights

    October 23, 2014

Fright Fest at Universal StudiosEeeek...is there any holiday more entertaining than Halloween when things that go bump in the night actually go bump in the night?! That's more or less what goes on here at Universal Studios' Island of Adventure, when the witching day rolls around and the fertile imaginations of folks who really know how to put a scare in you go into gear. No costumes allowed, and note that this event is really scary and probably not appropriate for very young children.

    »The Devil Makes Three

    October 23, 2014 7:30 PM

Mixing traditional folk genres together with an almost punk rock style swagger, The Devil Makes Three is one of the most popular bands in the modern roots music revival. The three piece formed in Santa Cruz, California, deciding to utilize a raw, stripped-down instrumentation setup of just guitar, upright bass and banjo. On its 2002 self-titled debut, The Devil Makes Three displays its knack for crafting old-timey bluegrass jams full of rockabilly elements and high-energy showmanship. The trio's tales of hard drinking and soul searching have struck a chord with fans of several different genres throughout the US and beyond.
