This historic store called the Elwood Adams Store claims to be the oldest store that has been operating ever since it began in the year 1782. This building as a whole was registered as a national historic place and was commercially the oldest hardware store. The two and a half level structure was the original form and is now extended to a four levels building.
Just outside the city of Worcester is Hebert Candies. Founded in 1917, Hebert Candies has been New England's primary producer of chocolates and candies. The mansion, purchased by the owner in 1946, has been home to the candy company ever since, with chocolate made on the premise and a complete candy store inside. You can find seasonally-themed chocolate pops, a do-it-yourself ice cream bar and even hold birthday parties or other events at the mansion. Tasty chocolates and unique sweet treats are the reason to come out here to pick up some goodies for the kids or yourself!

Okaïdi is a Parisian transplant offering that je-ne-sais-quoi to the Natick Collection and your tyke’s wardrobe. The clothes offer effortless quality and adorableness, while erring on the not-too-precious side. Little Sara and Jake will be as comfortable in their Okaïdi duds as Nathalie and Pierre. This is no Target, but the prices stay reasonable. Some of the styles are a bit obvious—striped rugby shirts, anyone?—and others impractical, referring here to the second-grader-sized bolero. But overall the fashion is geared toward real, live children. The store’s manager touts the frequent arrival of new goods. - Anais Wheeler
